Maintenance and Repair

The District of Sechelt's Engineering Team assess the demands on the District's infrastructure and are responsible for the improvement.

The Public Works Team ensures that road maintenance remains a high priority. This maintenance includes street and roadway signage and pot hole fixes.

Long term maintenance such as crack sealing and road painting occur each year rotating the area of focus.

Our Engineering Team also review the requirements for property development as required by theSubdivision and Development Bylaw. The design and construction of the built environment must be guided by a vision of the District's future, the Official Community Plan, and attention to public safety and environmental concerns.
